I was recently reading an article on Chief Wahoo (who I happen to think is pretty pretttay pretty cool), and they brought up some other mascots that could see changes in the coming years. OM's recent change was mentioned, but no other SEC teams.

If your school had to change its mascot though, what do you think it would be? Culturally/locally significant, or something terrible?

LSU would undoubtedly be something awful that tries to show some form of culture in a vomit inducing try-hard kind of way

The Timber Rattlers or Canebrakes .... we've damn sure got enough of them around here to justify it. Seems like they are everywhere this year.

Option #1 I think would be the Mules. It's our state animal.

Other option could be Bears (from our state flag).

Those are the 2 most realistic options I would think

Georgia Pitbulls

Basically the same thing as before, only updating it to reflect the fact that pitbulls are now bred to do what bulldogs used to way back when before they were inbred to the point of ineffectiveness

Means we could replace Hairy Dawg with Die Antwoord's Pitbull Terrier

LSU Possums. There's a historical context and everything. You can call it Rally Possum I and move it into Mikes habitat

I think we will embrace the inevitable and become the Tennessee Hillbillies on the condition that Florida also embraces who they truly are and become the Jorts.
