I believe it has only happened twice. 2011 USC v. UF and 1997 LSU v. Bama.

With a strong nine this year I think there is a really good chance.

I am predicting Vandy v. LSU for all the marbles. I think those are the two best teams in the nation and would love to see the re-match.

Pretty strong, we have a lot of solid teams out there this year. I can't wait for this to get going!

Pretty good. It wouldn't be unreal to think that maybe even 3 could play. USCe, LSU, and Arky all had to play a few years ago I believe. I think its kind of a luck of the draw deal when you get there.

USCe, Florida and Vandy were 3 of the final 4 in 2011. All from the SEC East.

SEC West had half of the field in 1997 with 4 teams at the CWS and LSU/Bama meeting for the title. A while back I know.

I want LSU and UVA, but I picked LSU and Vandy. Mostly because of Stanek. Arkansas would not surprise me with their pitching

Could have been that way last year, but Florida decided to lose to Kent State.

Chances of it happening are slim and none.

I'm not sure the conference is as strong as some of us think it is this year, top to bottom. 2011 the SEC East finished 1,2,3 in the country - it went beyond just SCAR and UF playing for the CWS Championship because Vandy finished #3 and the CWS All Star team was comprised entirely of players from the SEC East.

Could something, like that, happen again this season? Sure it could but the odds are as against it now as they were two years ago.

Probably right, but I would love to see it. I think the B1G would start to argue that only one team per conference should make the CWS.

Arkansas can pitch but at some point you have to hit the baseball and they just cant seem to do that.. I think Vandy plays UNC for the title and North Carolina wins... The ACC streak finally ends.

Yeah... The #1 overall national seed who advanced to the Finals back to back years less than a decade ago... There's no way that coaching staff knows what it takes to win games in Omaha.

The SEC is weaker than normal this year. I only have Vandy and LSU getting to Omaha. Arkansas and MSU aren't complete enough teams this year and UF, Bama, Ole Miss aren't getting out of the regionals.

Couldn't you see them re-matching in the finals though (would be pretty epic).

Would love it. And I'm a bit surprised the powers-that-be allowed the possibility. For years after LSU-Bama in 97 all the SEC teams were put in the same side of the bracket.
