Wish he would go pro. Freeze has built a powerhouse in Oxford.

Dude is good and I'm shocked because of how he acts outside of football.

The Black Bears under Freeze have yet to win the division, let alone the league. Good start no doubt, especially when considering where they came from before him, but, like the aggies' annual pre season horn blowing, let's see him win something before calling him the next Johnny Vaught.

The handwriting is on the wall. It took a 'once-in-a-hundred years' fluke play by Arkansas to keep Ole Miss from a rematch with Florida in Atlanta this year. Freeze will win the West and the SEC soon. He's in his fourth year. His best coaching is ahead of him. Keltic Tiger: two out of the last three. Are you ready for three out of the last four?

It took a terrible defense to do this. I don't blame flukiness.

That was the tenth of ten in a row for the Rebels. I can see how a tired D happened. But the fluke play was just that. You'd never be able to pull it off again.

I've been saying it all season. Even in the games he lost that I watched, Kelly looked like the best passer in the nation. He actually makes progressions beyond his 1st and 2nd receivers, makes quick decisions, is accurate, and is not afraid to take risks and throw it deep. He's a little bit turnover prone because he does take those risky throws, but I'd rather have a guy that's willing to take those risks than to throw everything short.

He's probably not ready. But I can see him being a good NFL QB if he irons out his mistakes.

That's why he's coming back. Uncle Jim will tell him to stay and fine-tune things. The guy has some good football genes.

Any clue whether or not your junior/senior class is going to be devastated yet? I assume that's Tunsil, Treadway, Core, LG, C, RT, RB for sure gone on offense with the potential of Engram and Kelly going pro too.

And the Defense loses Ward, the Nkems, MLB, Saftey not Nkem, Nickle, and another DE.

I just don't know if you guys have the horses next year.

Kids make mistakes man.

If most of us think back to the crap we were pulling when we were 17-21 years old then I'm sure we'd come across some really stupid stuff we are glad wasn't broadcast to the world.

Punk kid has an attitude.....this is news? Been that way since the first kid turned 13.

Kids can mature, ya know.

Preceded by a bounce off two guys TD reception to beat Alabama.

blackrose890: Kelly will not declare. He knows he has a shot at the SEC and the Heisman, and Uncle Jim (shown prominently at the Sugar Bowl) will make sure he understands he needs some fine-tuning. Engram has already said he is coming back. It's Treadwell, not Treadway. Even if he declares, there are plenty of other WR's that have experience--Adebojo, Stringfellow, etc.

Greg Little, a #1 recruit, will step in and take Tunsil's place. We played 7 games without Tunsil, so lots of other O-Linemen got experience. The team actually played better without the Nkemdiches. There are still plenty of players from the 2013 class with eligibility, and this year's class is rated #1 by at least two services.

We will not rebuild. We will reload. Wishful thinking on your part that we won't have the horses. You should worry about Fat Bert not being able to pull another miracle out of his paunch to avoid 6-6 seasons.

We're so damn amazing. I'll be shocked and devastated if we don't win the SEC next year.

I see Tennessee as winning the East. Either Ole Miss or Alabama will win the West.

Yes but you lose 4 lineman not one and tunsil wasnt a world beater day one. I understand you have a bunch of lineman, but you will also lose a bunch of them.

I think 7-8 wins is realistic, but tunsil absolutely was the real deal from day 1.

Yeah, you're a long time powerhouse for sure.

This thread is just making me relive how fun that game was. My second fave play was probably the face mask there right before the very last play of the game. Great stuff.

Allllll that said, regarding the op- Chad Kelly is really good.
