What's the justification for ranking Florida over Mizzou? Mizzou has a real chance to have the best offense in the SEC next season.

mizzou ... this past season was a fluke brought on by injury bad luck happening to the SECE traditional powers.

Isn't that what happened?

I actually agree with this.

Yeah, lulz, that was a huge stretch .... from 4th (consensus) to 2nd. Damn, I mean it was almost like they took SCAR's record against bowl teams and Top Ten opponents into account. What idiots!

Why would any Auburn fan be pissed at this "prediction"? You were probably no higher than 4th on any of them last year after a 3-9 season. Yet you still won the West.

Nah, 2012 was a fluke brought on by all time injury bad luck.

Tennessee vastly improves this season. Texas A&M falls substantially.

EAST:
1. South Carolina
2. Missouri
3. Georgia
4. Tennessee
5. Florida
6. Vanderbilt
7. Kentucky

WEST:
1. Auburn
2. Alabama
3. LSU
4. Mississippi State
5. Ole Miss
6. Texas A&M
7. Arkansas

You know, seriously, you are correct as well.

Mizzou is neither as bad as they appeared to be in 2012, nor as good as they appeared to be (at times) in 2013.

2014 should see Mizzou land somewhere in between 2012 and 2013. I'm guessing either 3rd or 4th.

Disagree - 12 wins was closer to our "norm" than 5 & there's the assumption that we would have lost games in '13 if all of our opponents were healthy but no one will ever know.

TBD - likely but I think we will be better on offense

Clearly the writer didn't see Jennings in the bowl game for LSU

Clearly you didn't see what LSU did in 2011 without a QB or even an offensive coordinator.

Hell, even Jefferson was 2-1 vs Auburn.

As far as a "host of other talent", LSU has averaged the 6th best recruiting class over the last 5 years, with no class ranked outside of the top 10. So, don't worry about LSU's host, they will still be there.

Oh, and:

35-21.

This is just a blatant lie. Mizzou averages 5.3 wins a season and y'all have had 21 5-win seasons compared to only 2 12-win seasons. Facts, stats, and numbers say 2012 was more normal of a year for y'all than '13.

I do have a question about the offense that Auburn runs, what happens after Marshall leaves and you can't find another running QB much like what happened after Newton left?

Hopefully break records through the air with Jeremy Johnson like Gus did with Chris Todd. Not to mention Johnson is 10x more talented than Todd was.

I think Bama, Auburn and LSU will fight it out for 1st place. But Ole Miss may squirm in to title contention as well.
I really don't have a clue how A&M will do. And Arky and State should be improved.

I should have prefaced it with "in recent years" like the last 10.

Luke Joeckel or Kenny Hill, your table is waiting

I can't possibly take this analysis seriously. So Luke Joeckel, according to CFN, is going to come back to A&M from the Jaguars, lose 50 pounds, and play QB?
