This is kind of a dumb don't you think? It would be tough for the West to have 4 in the top 5 when they are beating each other every weekend.
2 top 5
4 top 10
5 top 25
That's about as stout as it gets this late in the season. The only comparable are 2010 and 2011. 2011 was top heavy though.

1.State
2. Alabama
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss
5. LSU
6. Texas aTm
7. Arkansas
8. Florida State
9. Oregon
10. TCU

It's not the only argument.
LSU didn't blow away Wisconsin. Auburn didn't blow away KState. Neither of those teams will win their conference (most likely). Bama won by 10 against a middle of the pack Big 12 team (WVU has 3 other losses). You can point out that all those were still wins and that's fine. But margin of victory is certainly going to be a factor when determining relative strength.
Is the West better than the East? Yes. Does the entire West belong in the top 20? No. Is it ok to not believe in Santa Claus? Yes. Is it ok to not believe that the SEC West has 7 top 20 teams? Yes.

You completely gloss over conference games in which west teams struggled.
I didnt make that outrageous of a claim. You seem to be the one angry about that opinion. Its not a big enough deal to me to continue hashing over the same stuff while folks take personal shots as well.

The West is unquestionably the best in college football this year. Its not the best ever, but it's not too far off. So saying it's overrated is dumb.

ps, kilo, My apology as it was the808bass following me on threads this past weekend that I was thinking about. He was on the UGA thread and it must have been the other thread where I started calling him Gilligan. Maybe that was on the Score Board or Rant from friday or saturday. Too unconcerned to go back and look. FWIW, by now the six or so of you guys just blend into one after all this time and the lack of separation in content.

No. So we're arguing about to what degree the West is the best. I think both sides are probably right. The 4 of the top 5 teams was nonsense. And saying the ACC is better is nonsense.

I'm not angry. I just pointed out the idiocy of your claim, which you have still yet to refute with anything it other than "4 tops 5 teams? C'mon man."
I've provided facts as to why the West isn't overrated. You have provided none as to why it is. We'll just leave it at that.
