Hey, we win!

And honestly, if anyone thinks the seat is hot for Jones, they don't understand the mindset of Vols fans. The post-Fulmer, Kiffin/Dooley era really messed us up.

We are scared to even whisper about firing people.

Sumlin should be higher. The fact that neither the offensive or defensive coordinators have contracts beyond 2017 should have serious red flags for anyone paying attention.

I see Tennessee accepting 2-3 more mediocre seasons before we move on.

I'm all for lighting that seat on fire, but I don't think it will happen.

In the end, I had to go with Jones ahead of Kelly on this list. Unlike Kelly, Jones doesn’t have an appearance in a national title game or a Fiesta Bowl on his resume at Tennessee. All Jones really has on his Vols resume at this point are a lot of expectations that his teams have failed to live up to.

yep. we can win 9 games and vehemently demand more.

Arkansas is, apparently, perfectly content with 4 or 5 wins in a season.

The ONLY reason they kept him is because he beat us last year and we still won the East.

Jones isn't on the hotseat at all entering this season but he well could be very soon if he doesn't have a decent season and re-up the recruiting.

Well all the talk last summer was "Atlanta or bust" and he didn't get the job done again.

He beat Florida and Georgia. The rest was a wash.

Prof, no troll

Do you think Butch simply needs more time or what? Expectations should be higher for a program like Tennessee

The only reason I can think is that Tennessee goes through coaches like underwear and stability might be better than firing another underwhelming coach?

Just spitballing. Curious of your reasonings

What if someone told you last summer that UT would beat us and UGA but still not win the East and then lose a Sugar Bowl berth because of freaking Vandy? I doubt you'd have that attitude.
