As a Bama fan I agree.
I remembered being blown away when i first saw their golden helmet at the 2013 BcS game. And I was in the upper deck. Haha.
I love Bama's all white combo. Kinda curious about a white helmet in the future but I don't really care.
Other than Bama, I like...
LSU's helmet is cool as hell IMO. Old tiger logo with LSU over it.
Floida's is hard to not like. Especially with the Gator head logo. But....
...I like auburns shade of blue better.
Ole miss is great as well. But the baby blue helmet on the dark blue unis is weird to me. Stick to one shade please.

Maybe it's just in my head, but I hate how Georgia's pants have changed color. They used to be shiny and silver. Now, they are a light, muted gray.

I really like UGA's black jerseys, white pants with the red helmets. Why don't they wear this more often? Badass imo.

Let's be honest, minus a couple teams (Missouri and Vandy looking at you two turds), the SEC has some damn good looking uniforms. All of the lines are classic. I don't like Bama but their uniforms look classy, UGA, UT, AU and Florida, same thing. There really are only a couple teams with shitty uniforms and helmets.

Nope. They had changed from silver to grey. I had heard we were going back to the silver, but I honestly haven't noticed if that happened or not.

I like those as well, but they are and will probably remain as an alternate jersey to be worn only occasionally.

I hate the metallic helmets....but I actually don't mind the flat or mat colored helmets. I probably like the regular ole helmets best, though.

Same reason ND doesnt' wear their green jersey all the time..it's a specialty uni meant as an alternate. We've only worn it 3 times. A few other limitations are that we can't wear it on the road (with a few exceptions) and you dont' want to wear it in september due to heat.
Personally, I think we should do them like ND does. Don't announce it preseason or anythign like that, just let the fans know on like a Thursday before a big game so everyone in the stands can wear black. I think they should be worn once every couple years (so each graduating class can wear it once). One suggestion I heard that I also really liked (which I admit goes completely opposite of what i just said) would be to make a permanent game where we wear them, presumably the last home game of the year which is also senior day.
