Surprised they didn’t pick State at Bama.

If both teams win Saturday that will be a big game

CBS doesn't wanna limit themselves to one Bama game in November.

I see them at worst 8-1 before Bama

The Rebs could be anywhere from 6-3 to 9-0 when Bama rolls into Oxford.

Ole miss LSU should be a big game. This has been a big rivalry for many years and good to see it getting airtime. I grew up with this being a marquee game in the SEC.

No matter how the future SEC scheduling goes the Magnolia Bowl needs to be preserved.

Good post. I for one am actually glad to see TENN/Bama actually mean something this year. I will be watching that game. Whatever happens with the new 3-6 format, I think LSU/Ole Miss will be one of LSU's 3 Permanents, and it should. Not sure who the other 2 are going to be, I suspect Texas A&M will be 1 of the other 2.

I am sure LSU will not play Auburn, Bama and Florida every year any longer, some great match ups over the last 20 or so years (Bama getting the best of LSU more often than not) but that is the price of expansion I guess. each of those teams have games that are guaranteed permanents already against other teams that you can put in the all time AP top 25 programs etc. (Bama: Auburn/TENN, UGA: Florida/Auburn; Auburn: UGA/Bama). Not sure who else TENN and Florida will get. I am sure Florida/UGA survives and TENN/Bama. Do TENN and Florida stay on the schedule? Not sure.

Do long-time Auburn fans really want to bring back the Masters (Amen Corner) in the fall (it is my favorite sporting event bar LSU ball games) and play in addition to UGA and Bama, 1 of either Florida or TENN?

Cheers, and good post.

Hell yeah I do. UGA in October is weird as frick. Give em 2 in a row in Athens and get it back to normal.
