UT@UGA will probably trump Bama@LSU as well.

Maybe. But after watching last week, I’m not sure they’re comfortable. I personally hate CBS though, so it’s all good.

Warning to traveling A&M fans, it’ll be a state fair game. Traffic and parking will be way worse than normal due to extra people in the area and displaced tailgating.

Surprised they didn’t pick State at Bama.

If both teams win Saturday that will be a big game

Night game against A&M at Williams Brice will be a pretty hyped atmosphere. Especially after the upset over Kentucky.

They really need to do a better job on avoiding these.

I still have no idea what to make of Ole Miss other than Kiffin can squeeze 30 points out of about any situation

it 100% will

The luster of bama/lsu has already faded, as evidenced by the fact that CBS has stopped reulgalry using it's one time a year 8pm slot on it. That was an afternoon game in 2019 and obviously won't be the 8pm cbs game this year since that's already happened.

UGA/UT could be a top 3 matchup and will almost surely be a top 10 matchup.

Agreed. It makes gameday so much worse. Getting some heart attack carnie food makes up for it, but only slightly.

It could be November before we get a good sense of what this team is capable of.

Usually Auburn, LSU and aTm are pretty good. This year they all suck.

Ole Miss has been more competitive with Bama than State has in the last decade. Plus Ole Miss gets Bama in Oxford and State has to play in Tuscaloosa.

Your assumption is probably right. CBS probably goes to Oxford that week and State gets UGA in a night game. Most State fans probably prefer that honestly.

Bama has already had CBS for Arkansas, A&M and will have them for UT.

My understanding is you can only show a team 4x, so CBS probably prefers Bama-LSU, Bama-Ole Miss or Bama-AU for the final slot.

You are correct but I think it is 5 times. I suspect Bama/Auburn will be on CBS since there are lots of SEC/ACC games that week which ESPN/ESPN2 will get.

So I suspect as of now Bama/Ole Miss looks like the other option for CBS. I see them at worst 8-1 before Bama. LSU already has 2 losses.

Ole miss LSU should be a big game. This has been a big rivalry for many years and good to see it getting airtime. I grew up with this being a marquee game in the SEC.

No matter how the future SEC scheduling goes the Magnolia Bowl needs to be preserved.

Agreed. They really need to keep the trifecta together:

Ole Miss / LSU (110 games)
LSU / MSU (116 games)
MSU / Ole Miss (116 games)
