The only thing that's underrated about Butch Jones is how awful of a coach he is.

Womp womp. That is most definitely NOT underrated. We all know he is garbage from a coaching standpoint. It seems like that's pretty well-represented ITT.

He's our Jim Donnan, and his record said that's who he is the day he was hired.

He's not awful, he's not great.

Try to tell me that Tennessee should be ranked ahead of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and others in the league. It shouldn't be.

Historically they were for decades either on par or better.

According to one source, there are 8-10 Division I players in the state in the next recruiting cycle.

That is the biggest load of shite I've ever heard in my entire fricking life. Tennessee has Nashville AND Memphis not to mention a bunch of other mid sized cities. No way they don't have at minimum 50 kids who get D1 offers.
Whoever wrote that has absolutely 0 knowledge of college football recruiting AT ALL.

Tennessee traditionally might not have been great recruiting but the middle Tennessee area has completely exploded in the last ten years so the pool has gotten much larger. I still don't think the development of the high school players is like it is in other hotbeds but it is improving.
