Nice, but meaningless. This weekend will likely decide at least the SECW, if not the SEC. After that, there won't be 2 SEC teams in the top 4 of the CFP. I don't see any way where the CFP is not the clear champs of the Big 4.
BDF is screwed, and not just this year. I see it being one of those things where even the whorns or zero U will need to be undefeated to edge out champs from the other 4. Not quite P5, but closer to that than the SEC, B1G, ACC, or Pac.

I actually think the loser of Ohio St/Michigan slips in before the A&M does(assuming we go 11-1 with a close loss to bama).

I have already told my wife that if we do make it to the playoffs, I am selling the ranch to get there.
Slept on the couch though, so may not work out.

Speaking from experience you will pretty much have to do that. They literally treat this thing like a Super Bowl.

I once slipped and fell into a vagina. It was terrible.

Actually not that far fetched... close loss to BAMA and slips here and there by the rest... Either Meechegan or OSU will have a late loss...
Washington could slip up...
Washington could slip up...

It means just as much as the ap and the coaches poll. Which is nothing.

How much is the total package?
I had hawaii planned but it can change in an instant if we really make it.

This.
The only way SEC gets two in is if A&M beats Bama this week and goes undefeated - Bama finishes with 1 loss.
Bama could get in under that scenario. If it is reversed, no way A&M gets in. Ohio State/Michigan loser would get in before A&M.

Still too much football to play to have any solid predictions. My shaky prediction would be, in no particular order:
1. Winner of SEC, assuming it is not a two loss team.
2. Winner of Ohio State/Michigan. Nebraska controls its destiny, but I can't imagine them beating Ohio State in the regular season and then again in the B1G championship.
3. ACC champs
4. Washington, if it can make it through with one loss other than the Pac12 championship.
Two teams that are undefeated and getting no attention yet: Navy and Boise. If Navy could make it through undefeated, even with a weaker schedule they would be a sentimental favorite.
I don't think is the year that a team makes the playoffs without winning their conference. Frankly, I doubt that it happens before they expand it to 8 teams - too much pressure to take a conference champ.

We also have at least 1 win where we have no business winning.

Actually if A&M wins a very close game with Bama and both teams win out I could see Bama slipping in to the CFP. They would need some help but that is possible. Clemson seems to be flirting with losing weekly. OSU/Michigan will take each other out and the loser will have that as their last game with no time to recover poll position. Washington is rolling but they are also new to winning so it wouldn't shock me if they slipped, they still have to play at Utah, USC and ASU at home, and then a rivalry road game against a WSU team that looks very dangerous with the pirate coaching them.
No way does any other 1 loss team jump Bama.
Now if it is A&M that loses and then wins out it is less certain. A&M hasn't been as dominant as Bama. That said, an A&M resume then would finish with wins over LSU (in the final game) and Ole Miss to go with Auburn, Arkie, UT, and UCLA and would only have the Bama loss. Certainly that would make A&M a strong contender if the undefeateds start to fall.

What? The Sugar Bowl and Cotton Bowl were easy tickets. The CFP national title was easier to find tickets than BCS title games. The only hangup was reasonable lodging in Arizona. Flights weren't bad.

I think if what you said above were to occur, Bama may need a loss by OSU in that game. If Michigan losses by 3 or less on the road to a top 3 team, they SHOULD be viewed as more favorably to a top 5 team who lost at home. Also would depend on how the committee views the teams after A&M/Bama/OSU/Michigan in your presented scenario.
Who knows though today

That's a point, but I actually think the opposite. Ohio State has a more impressive resume with the blowout win over OU. Michigan's best nonconference win is over Colorado. Bama's resume would be distinctly better than Michigan's, despite the assessment of home vs away in the loss in that scenario.
Plus, even though it shouldn't factor, Ohio State's talent loaded roster, coupled with the fact that many people thought they may have been the best team last year and only a close loss to MSU kept them out, would probably influence some of the discussion.

Navy is not undefeated, they lost to Air Force who has since lost 2 n a row to New Mexico and Wyoming, Navy will not be in the CFP.

can you go 5 fricking minutes without bringing up Texas?

Navy lost to Air Force.
Edit: Whoops, saw someone else beat me there.
I think the Final Four are Bama, OSU, Washington, and Clemson.
