Don't doubt we strengthened the conference and simultaneously improved the conference's reputation and academics.

It's almost as if we've been here since the Stars and Bars were designed. Maybe one day, in time, we'll earn a star on the flag.

Missouri has been surprisingly good.
With Texas A&M, it makes me surprised that David Koresh's compound was setup in Waco, instead of College Station.

A&M was important. Mizzou is still a strange fit within the "east" division.

but both have diluted the name "southeastern" conference. I like y'all but wish money didn't rule the roost and our conference stayed at 12 (10 was even better). I know that can't really happen in today's environment but I think that's a shame. after all, it IS college. all of this arms race and increasing costs is not good imo.

I can agree with that in to some extent. However, in Mizzou and A&M's case...the jump to the SEC was incredibly good for them.

I am starting to think Mizzou might have been the better addition. More success on the field and less delusion off it
