An advance to the Final Four would collectively melt all the folks in your northern border and melt the Taters at the same time.
MAKE IT HAPPEN!

CFM said there was no celebrating after they left MSG last night bc they were focused on beating the gatas.

Don't forget the Missouri fans. They would take it hard

We would of course catch hell on here, but this Scar team is special in my eyes. I could handle the heat, but I can only speak for myself...I have no problem with Scar reaching the FF and beyond.

It's gonna be a great game either way. I'm excited.

Why? There are plenty of inferior programs that have made it farther than Mizzou in the NCAA tourney.
Georgia, Miss. State, LSU, George Mason, etc

Yeah, I know. It still annoying though that we've had such shite luck when we make it to the elite 8.

I hear ya, and I have no idea who to root for. I just want a great game and expect one. I'm leaning towards Scar because that's a team hard to root against. They remind me so much of the old, tough defensive teams of Norm Stewart.

Y'all are supposed to be a basketball school though. Even we made one in the pre-Donovan days.

Should be a great one. Whoever wins, make it an all SEC final!

Reminds me of when MSU went to the Final Four. They beat Ray Allen and UConn in the Sweet 16 and no one was excited. In the press conference they kept having to say "we came to get two."
21 years ago today, they beat Cincy and went to the Final Four.

We have to get by UNC and Kansas to do that. Will be tough.

MSU was no joke that year. They actually won the SEC tournament over Kentucky's "Untouchables." Erick Dampier was a beast (it's a shame he just missed out on an NBA title in 2011).

We were way underseed. Most expected a 3 seed with an outside shot at a 2. We ended up a 5 seed.
Narrowly avoided getting put out by VCU in the first round. Looked like we didn't want to be there and looked destined to get out out by the defending national champs UCLA.
But then Princeton upset UCLA. We win the second round and hit our stride. Beat 1 seed UConn and 2 seed Cincy by double digits.
Then Marcus Bullard turned into a turnover machine in New York and we lost to an average Syracuse team. Not saying we would have beaten Kentucky for the title, but we had just beaten them in New Orleans three weeks prior.
