Pretty legit that there are only 4 SEC Equestrian teams, and all 4 are in the Top 10.

Can we get an equestrain board?
It is one of the big 2 sports so we need it!

Yes it is, and I agree that both UT and KY should get on board. All of this "club sponsorship" excuse by KY is no excuse at all IMHO.
It's actually embarrassing that neither UT nor UK are supporting equestrian. We have no excuse not to have outstanding programs - we have breeders, riders, shows, Western and English saddle based competitions, our own freaking horse breeds and races and vet schools specializing in the horses.
If the NCAA held whiskey and bourbon competitions and UT and UK didn't bother to field real teams it wouldn't be any more mind boggling than us not having real equestrian teams.

Could not agree more! Well put.
Why don't KY folks and y'all pressure your programs to add the sport and join us?
In the meantime ...
Do you know the way to USC? Burt Bacharach's daughter signs with Gamecocks

Bacharach's father, Burt, has won Academy Awards and Grammys for his five decades of work. LINK

Sooo...there are 4 SEC Equestrian teams and they are all in the top 10. That is pretty solid.

If they were just farm horses that are barely ridden then yeah it would be unnerving and possibly insane depending upon temperament but we're talking about trained horses with an even keel. Even a child who has only ridden a few times should be able to hop on one and complete an easy to moderate jump without worrying that horse will freak out. Horses at an equestrian event are not going to be so spirited or stubborn that their temperaments and lack of training pose a big risk and they certainly won't be so skittish they panic at seeing their own shadow.

SCAR would dominate bass fishing if it weren't for our club not wanting to give up all its sponsorships. Plus we're interracial and we just docked six new bass boats.

It's clear that you'd much prefer slong slurping and taking it up the @$$ over adding anything constructive to a thread in which it would have behooved you (pardon the pun) to have just stayed the frick out of ... but fwiw, no one here cares what bores you outside of your normal routine of getting your rump bored you inconsiderate rude frick.

Using behooved is probably confusing to him for reasons other than a potential pun.

True
And there was something else I wanted to respond to in this thread ... oh yeah, about traveling, meets on the road, etc.
You can trailer your own rides if the away meet is close enough, but it is cost prohibitive and too time consuming to try to trailer them all over a few hundred miles.
