US is a much bigger country though
Over there pretty much every big city has multiple teams that divide the loyalties of the people who live there and result in smaller stadiums.
If you combined the Everton fans and the Liverpool fans into one club like would be the case in the US, they would play in a 100k stadium too.

North Korea's stadium seats 150k. WTF how are we gonna let the commies win the stadium race.
You have to keep in mind they are North Koreans. They are starving and weigh 77 pounds. Their stadium holds 150K N Koreans which equates to about 75000 SEC fans

14k/323m=about 23k
900/65m= about 72k
US's teams per capita is 3x's over there.

Again, just like the states.

There is no high school sports equivalent over there though so I'm not sure that works. I get including college bc of the lower divisions
Lol no. Steelers fans are also Pitt fans, those two fan bases aren't pitted against each other. NYC and LA are the only 2 cities with multiple NFL teams. London has what, 7 EPL teams?

FWIW... If I added right (just approx) England has a population of 53,000,000(UK 65,000,000 TTL).
SEC states have 93,000,000 ttl.
Looks like the hooligans represent pretty well...

Seems just as loud if not louder during some soccer broadcasts. Might be piping noise in?
90% of the field level noise at SEC games comes from the lower seats. You don't get much noise from upper decks.

Why are you including High School Football teams?
A fair comparison is the top 4 divisions in England vs. all of division I CFB.
