Seems just as loud if not louder during some soccer broadcasts. Might be piping noise in?
The crowd is right on top of the players tho. Awesome environment.

I believe that premiere league list is wrong, they have 10 stadiums over 40k according to Wiki...

Keep in mind that Premier League teams play a 38 game round robin (19 home games), so it makes sense that they have smaller venues (like with baseball).

North Korea's stadium seats 150k. WTF how are we gonna let the commies win the stadium race.

Just turning up the mic volume. Their cheers are also more organized.

Plus, Wembley isn't the regular home for Spurs. Beloved White Hart Lane is being replaced.

In my experience the games are quite loud in person. The atmosphere is very good.
I do think the people who reside abroad and claim that no American sports are close are definitely wrong. Soccer has organized chants and often a very loud, organized "hum" to the game that builds anticipation, especially in comparably short matches.
But I haven't experienced ear-splitting third-and-long noise like you see in SEC stadiums (except after goals and the like, which is the same for big scoring plays in CFB).

Kroger Field. The UK administration should be ashamed. I'd be pissed if I were a booster who helped fund the renovations.

They have way way way more teams per capita than we do here, hence the smaller capacity stadiums.
Also after the Taylor Report they mandated all seater stadiums so that reduced capacity as well.

Watch MsState play an SEC game. The few rare occasions when we are good the place is absurdly loud especially since the addition. The Auburn vs MsState game a few years ago was the loudest i've ever heard any stadium and i've been to quite a few pro and college stadiums. I've watched the replay a few times and The tv announcers couldn't talk over the noise level. There was something magical about that game... maybe it was just the dak effect.

it's not just the Premier League. Each level of they pyramid has another set of teams. There's like 900 teams total in England.

Can you do an NBA comparison too?

NBA arenas are all smaller than football stadiums. That just seems silly.

essentially you could do the same for football
There are 14k high school football teams alone, then you have about 200+ in college
