re: Can we stop trying to rearrange the divisions and just admit that 6-0-2>>>6-1-1?

How about you give up the Clemson game so we can go to a 9-game SEC schedule?

If every other team had a strong OOC opponent then it wouldn't be an issue.

Because everyone basically already does this

When there are ooc schedules like Bama's last year, aTm's and Mizzou's, yes it does.
And besides, USC-Clemson is one of the longest consecutively played games in the nation. Its got more tradition than TSIO and DSOR

Bama played VA Tech last year, has played Michigan, Clemson, FSU, etc. each year over the past several years. Why do people forget/choose to ignore this?

We scheduled a team that was coming off a Sugar bowl appearance and has been one of the top 15 programs in the country the past decade. Colorado State won a bowl game

Schedules are in flux because of the conference change.

How does that sound?
I think they're required to play each other annually.

No it doesn't.
We all know the new committee is going to take only one SEC team a year - the team that wins the SECCG.
Win the SECCG and you're in. Unless you completely shite the leg South Carolina style in OCC.

Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia are the three main obstacles in getting that schedule because they don't want to have to play nine SEC games + a strong OOC every year.
Pussies.

No the divisions and schedule format aren't the problem. It's fricking expansion! Kick out 2-4 teams and the problem is solved. I miss the good ole days.

Well that's not true. We want to be able to play OOC rival and another strong OOC game while still maintaining enough home games.

Stop whining.
The entire country will be different, in terms of conferences, very soon.
Slive had the foresight to move early.
And I bet he does so again soon.

How many of those USC-Clemson games had national title implications attached to them? I'm going to go ahead and say zero.

I thought playing every year was what made tradition? Otherwise whats the big deal in not playing every year?

I'm actually at the point where I don't mind a 6-0-3 schedule if it meant LSU fans would quit their constant whining and bitching about Alabama and the SEC office.
I could live with playing Tennessee as a non conference game in years it isn't in the rotation. The only downside is that SEC scheduling would have to be figured out and settled several years out to even out the number of SEC home games for each team. That's one of the main downsides to a 9 game conference schedule.

Silly ag...no experience being in a real conference, but always yapping about virtually any/all subjects. Y'all are still at the kiddie table, so please be quiet till you've actually accomplished something...lol
