They had the resume to get in and the committee has already shown us more than once that having a conference title is a plus but not a requirement. I honestly don't understand why they rankle so many people other than people just disliking ND. tOSU's loss was terrible and UGA had two losses. Objectively, ND deserved their shot.

As an aside, we've seen plenty of others get completely whipped in the playoffs. It's not just ND.

lost 2 games, they were not going to get in.

If Clemson beat Nd in the acc cg, uga gets in with 2 losses.

Heard Kelly say there was no talent disparity between the domers and Tigers.

What a deluded halfwit.

As long as Yankees exist....no. ND’s all they got left to try and hang their hats on.

they played in the acc, they would have beat everybody but Clemson and would have been in at number 4 with one loss and lost to Bama just like they lost to Clemson

No. They would’ve put Ohio State in.

They wouldn’t have put in Georgia. They wouldn’t have put in Notre Dame. They wouldn’t have put in Washington. Their choices would have been between Ohio State and UCF.

Clemson could’ve dropped a game in conference and still got in with the ACC championship. Same for Bama. Or Georgia.
