Lost to Clemson 30-3
Lost to Bama 42-14 in the 2012 championship
The other BCS/New Years bowl they've played in the last 20 years?
2016 Fiesta Bowl - Ohio State 44 Notre Dame 28
2007 Sugar Bowl - LSU 41 Notre Dame 14
2006 Fiesta Bowl - Ohio State 34 Notre Dame 20
2001 Fiesta Bowl - Oregon State 41 Notre Dame 9
None within 2 touchdowns.
Lets stop pretending it's 1965.
Become a full fledged member of a conference, play a championship game...or be treated like a non-power 5 program when it comes to bowl/playoff selection.

No they earned a place this year. Clemson was just a better football team yesterday.

If they played in the acc, they would have beat everybody but Clemson and would have been in at number 4 with one loss and lost to Bama just like they lost to Clemson. And Clemson would've beat OU, because OU can't stop them either. So we would be in the exact same finals with different semi finals. The only thing that might have been different is if ND had to play Clemson twice. Then what? tOSU who lost by 4 td's and 2 point conversion to Purdue comes in at number 4? OK maybe but they get clobbered by Bama. UGA was not going to get in with 2 losses either way. The two best teams are Bama and Clemson and no matter how you set it up, it was going to end up like this. Had UGA showed up against LSU we would have a different story where it could end up Bama and UGA, or Clemson and UGA, but with UGA out, it was going to be Bama and Clemson not matter who was put in it.

ACC would not get 2 in. That’s stupid. UGA would’ve made it in after losing to the “greatest team ever” in the final minute. And we are every bit as good as you and better than Clemson.

Really? It would've been down to tOSU and ND for the 4th spot. So they would've had to decide to decide between a one loss whose loss was a 4 score loss to an unranked team vs another one loss team whose loss was to an undefeated number 2 contender. One conference champ vs a non conference champ. Last time this happened they took the non cofnerence champ who didn't have the horrible loss.

No you aren’t. Why do you keep trying to tell yourself this? You lost 2 games this year. One in blowout fashion. Alabama and Clemson are the clear top 2 teams and have been alll season long.

You almost beat us when our qb got hurt early in the game, but still lost and flat out didn't show up vs LSU. Don't pretend like you are as good as Bama. You had your chances and you blew it. Be bitter at your coaching staff, not us.

They need to be in a conference. If they were in the ACC, they would have taken their entrance exam against Clemson last month, they would have failed, and we would have had a real team in the playoffs.

This is why the playoff needs to be expanded. It panders to the blue bloods and not the actual good teams. Hope we get a true playoff at some point.
