TBH, I think Appleby has the superior arm compared to Del Rio. Many of the Gator fans think the same. He was much better than I expected until he got flustered when Tennessee was surging back

Yeah, Florida's loss was not because of their QB play. Appleby did well. McElwain said the QB competition between Del Rio and Appleby was down to the wire, and that LDR won by a very thin margin.

Of course having to go to the back up QB have NOTHING to do with UT's big win.

I'm not saying that. The narrative could have been entirely different if Del Rio was in there. My point is that LDR would have been hard pressed to put together as solid a performance as Appleby did, whereas he easily could have done much worse. McElwain basically said verbatim that neither QB was head and shoulders better than the other. If we're going to base everything off speculation, then Tennessee could also say our big win would have been even bigger with our usual starting CB and two starting LBs.

actually i have no idea, i just got tired of the vols being bitches yesterday.
i'll amend my comments to say, i think a&m should be able to knock off the vols however a&m tends to shite the bed after they play us- going from playing like pro bowlers to pee wees.
