Can we get an ignore button?

I love to come here and mix it up with other SEC fans. This is where it's a lot better than places like Tidefans. I love Alabama but I also am an SEC homer and like to see other SEC teams do well. There are some fantastic posters on the site who like to talk sports but the trolls here are absolutely terrible.
Getting an ignore button would effectively get rid of the trolls on this board. Until that happens, the trolls will get worse and worse over time and eventually drive down the site owner's revenue.
An ignore button would make a moderator's job a lot easier as well. You would hardly need to ever ban anyone. They would end up banning themselves.
Looks like it's been asked for many years on the help board but no word on it from the management. Trolls are hurting what could be a great SEC sports board.

Chicken wants clicks because that brings revenue. Everything else is secondary. He doesn’t give a crap about our user experience. It’s the way it is.

If that's true, I guess he is the man since he's the owner. It's a shame though. There's hardly any sites where many different SEC fans can get together and talk sports.

Unfortunately that’s the way it is. Every base has devolved into troll gangs who sling mud at schools, programs, cities, and users just to try to piss people off. Truth has no place here. Stupidity reigns.

Yea man let’s give you a safe space so you don’t have to deal with people being mean about your 5th choice mediocre hire. Might I suggest asking if Billy Luicci will add a BamaTide board to the TexAgs forum so you figs can hide and have an A&M-esque echo chamber all to yourselves?

It sucks. Lot of good LSU, Auburn, Bama and Georgia fans here. I enjoy talking ball with you guys.

I've been asking for an ignore button for years, but it'll never happen. Chicken thinks the trash on this board bring clicks. I disagree. There are threads I never click on at all because of who started them, but that's just me.

Exactly. Willy T is like a seasoned stand comedian. Then you have all of these open mic’ers thinking they can do the same thing he does and embrassing themselves.
