The only reason to make a huge deal out of the spring game is if you're introducing a brand new coach, QB, offense, etc . that you've never seen before.
Freeze's first Spring game was a big deal. Chad Kelly's first spring game was a big deal. We have the same HC, offense, and QB as last season.
Outside of that....it's a glorified practice. The defense isn't allowed to blitz. They play soft coverage. It's pretty fricking boring.
