They return 8/11 on offense. They will be good.

State will take a step back, especially if Prescott leaves (though I don't think he will).

I agree that they will likely have a very competitive defense, but the offense will be a real wildcard with having to replace Bo Wallace. We saw several SEC teams struggle this year to replace their senior QBs.

No, the west will likely be improved across the board. Save for State.

The East will have 2-3 that improve enough to compete for the SEC title, depending on how well Florida rebounds.

Maybe but I don't have any respect for either division, neither can play.

It does, you can't win without money.

That said the west will be better, but barely. The NEXT year? The east could take the lead. Tennessee should be back. Florida should be back. Georgia should be REAL good. Kentucky should keep improving.

Now....I don't know if anyone saw a common theme in my post. The word, SHOULD?

Florida and Tennessee may be better, but I don't know how much better. Kentucky will be ok. Georgia will be good but how good?

I think it will definitely be closer, but the East still has UK, Vandy and South Carolina and we aren't really sure about Florida at all.

Overall league will be tougher.

The gap will be a little less expansive in 2015, but in 2016, Aggie, Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU are all gunning for national title runs.

Ole Miss loses two the QB and WR2 on offense. Everyone else will be older and better. Return every back, tight end and offensive lineman on the roster and add some transfers/freshmen.

Defense will lose leadership and three starters but will be far more athletic.

State, I think they lose a lot of seniors but I'm not well-versed on their depth.

Yes, LSU will do their part to maintain mediocrity.

It's arguable that the SEC West overall could be even stronger next year than this year, so in a word... no.

Alabama will be the same

Wishul thinking considering Alabama would already have 3 or 4 losses against the schedule they play next year and the offense could easily be even worse next year

We at UGA had no problem with the west teams. There easier than the game we sleep through or the one the ref give to SC.

I would say it is wider.

We had an excellent year recruiting last year, and we are putting together a MASSIVE class this year fulfilling a lot of needs. We have Chubb and Michel...we'll be better...much better than we are right now.
