I'd guess they're at least two head coaches away from being competitive again in the SEC

Surprised that they didn't have a transition plan in place for Saban's inevitable retirement

In order to return to national prominence, don't they first have to become not nationally prominent?

To be fair to the OP the changes in Tuscaloosa is the biggest off season story for LSU fans in the last 18 years

Funny and original. No doubt, you are still upset about us costing you a chance at a three peat. You are hopeful that a regime change will finally allow you to get free from daddy Alabama, but you are scared that things will remain the same.

Our coach is responsible for sending your horns home from the playoffs. And with less talent. Y’all are fricked.

Yes Deboer will have Bama in the elite status quickly. He is an elite (real) coach at an elite school who can take the talent he has and get the most out of them. Just ignore other fans right now. They are scared yapping dogs praying the king doesn't revive to stomp their azzes for the next few decades.

His QB was. Bama's OLine isn't even HS level compared to Washington's and Milroe isn't going to beat anyone in his offense passing in the pocket and no receivers. To top it all off he will have the same problem of coaches from north that don't think they have to recruit 99% of their day to get players to compete in the south.

Bama, unless a complete meltdown, should be in the CFB playoffs next year. The O will be better and if the D can maintain last year standards we will score points.

I can see 4 teams in the playoffs. UGA, OM, UTx, Bama.

Bama has two returners who are NFL high to mid round picks. Both are road graders. Add the C from Udub and our middle is stacked

No they are done for awhile and probably for good. Bammer fans compare this to Bryant retiring and assume a saban is down the pipeline in due time, but this is really more like Osbourne retiring at Nebraska.

Their best days are behind them

Reminder that Texas never had the lead in their bowl game against our new head coach and he has much more talent at Alabama and has now added some very talented players from Washington through the portal to plug some holes. We are still
Loaded with 4 and 5 star talent at Alabama.

Are you claiming there's not enough talent at Bama currently to win the West again?

"Coming back" isn't like it was pre-NIL...a major rebuild from a depleted roster and coaching change of a blue blood school should be less than 3 years...in that 3 year period (probably less) they'll still be a team you'd rather not play if you have championship hopes.

I hope the Gumps can have a glorious run like the UT at Austin the past 40 years...

That would be great...a couple of lucky years and the rest they suck balls like UT has....that would be cool.
