Emmitt Smith says hello...Hall of Fame & all time leading rusher in the NFL. Only played 3 years @ UF..half of one year he missed after broken leg...and never came close to winning title in college. We had awful offense besides Emmitt. Our offense was student body left, right and up the middle. He get 224 yds (from memory) rushing against Bama in his first start and really first time running the ball other than a few carries when we had heads handed to us 31-2 by Miamuh. He left early as junior...27th pick I think by Dallas? Was paid peanuts but they tore up his contract after second year.
