O i am not sure then... His short run.. He just sort of ran forward, ran over BRANDON TAYLOR, not PP7, then scored

Yeah I remember PP fly from across the field to drag him into the endzone on the big run Cam had but I was referring to one of the drives that started from around our 2 yard line in the 3rd.

There's also Michael Dyer running over Patrick Peterson:

Dyer smashed Peterson on one play. Newton never ran him over though.

PP is a beast but on that 49 yard touchdown Cam Newton just accelerates past him. One of the most impressive runs I've ever seen.

Now THAT was a legitimately embarrassing play for Peterson.

Exactly.

Newton going one way and being unaffected by Peterson jumping on his back =/= Newton "running over" PP.

He didn't run over Peterson, he carried Peterson on his back for almost 10 yards. It was an impressive play.

No he didn't

Peterson came at an angle and ran stride for stride with him until getting drug.

Yeah I don't think anyone is arguing for that play, I was referring to another play.

He came across the field, and tackled him from his CB spot. Had to run Cam down, across the field. Both hit the ground really hard. Cam fumbled when he hit the ground(but was over the line). PP had to grab him from behind, and slid down his legs for the tackle. It was a great play by both players. I guess the safety had long been beat. Some want to make a big deal of it, but there was no ownership on that play. Both are first rounders.
