Cam played one year at Auburn in a read/option offense that did not require him to read pass defenses. It will take even more time for him to learn pro football than the average NFL recruit due to his lack of experience in college.

How many bama qbs have carried their teams to the playoffs recently. That is right one quit cause he sucked and another is a what third string. At least Cam is a starter that went to the playoffs twice.

He won 5 games in the regular season. Hell, I think they were 2-0 without him. He didn't lead shite. He's good, but I don't see him ever winning anything meaningful.

You're right.

The WR are worse, the OL is MUCH worse, and the offensive coordinating (it is truly offensive) is much, MUCH worse than 4 years ago.

But, hey, the defense is MUCH better.

Cam did more for AU than any player ever did for any football program in college football history. Can you imagine the fog of moroseness that would envelop the AU fan base if they had watched Bama win 3 NCs and they were still on the 50 plus year drought?

Spin it anyway you want, but it still has to suck knowing a guy bammers claim is terrible is still better than any quarterback your own school has produced in the last 40 years.

This is wrong. Otherwise Mark Sanchez would be the best QB in the NFL since his talent had all those years in that pro style offense at USC. It is harder to be an NFL QB than most on here understand.

Can you imagine what the Bama Fan base would be saying about Saban if his team was not giving the Mulligans in 2011 and 2012 ? If you lose 2 home games in November and the IB last year, they would be talking about how big a choker Saban was.
