Doesn't matter.

I provided a link.

You can't.

Any conclusions you jumped to are based on information NOT KNOWN AT THIS TIME. So basically, you pussies are guessing because you want it to be true so bad.

Summing it up: Cam can play, but investigation isn't over. Auburn is in good shape short-term but I actually think worse shape long-term.

Newton case is not over. This is just immediate eligibility ruling. An ongoing enforcement staff investigation can lead to more later

NCAAs decision based on "information available at this time."

If you read between the lines at the end of the release, this violation has been addressed, but the larger investigation likely ongoing.

The investigations isn't closed.

Those are the facts.

Staanky love bug... not everyone is guessing. I don't think much has changed... it doesn't mean it won't, but this was expected.

Please don't try to downplay it because it was "expected."

You, and everyone on the rant, would be lying if you EVER thought the SEC would make this ruling. You all thought that the SEC ALREADY had incriminating information. They don't.

Stop referencing the Bush situation. That changed after their ruling because they received new and credibile information.

There is no additional damning information that is going to come out in the conspiracy formerly known as CamGate.

Because before I saw the light after the Clemson game, I was a dreaded bammer. I remember saying the same thing the AU fans are saying while the textbook thing was going on. It isn't over..

Why did Auburn declare him ineligible now, if they investigated in the Summer and found nothing?

Because the ncaa concluded yesterday that a rules violation did in fact occur. Therefore Auburn HAD to declare him ineligible and ask for immediate re-instatement. What this means is that something improper did in fact occur. What is doesn't say is that the matter is closed. It isn't! However, it is unlikely that the NCAA will reach a final conclusion until well after the season is over. Cam IS eligible to play now but it doesn't mean he is all clear. It means that the NCAA hasn't reached a conclusion on the case but in the meantime Cam can play. It is possible that the NCAA could rule later that he was ineligible.

How can this statement be argued with? <sigh> I'm in no rush but this is far from over.

True. I want Cam eligible to beat the Cocks.

I believe more will eventually come out.

Regardless of what Auburn does the rest of the season, in the minds of college sports fans (at least the ones who spend time on the internet), they are dirty.

And that won't ever buff out.

You can't prove something doesn't exist, dipshit.

You can however, prove that they don't know it exists.

They did that today.

Sorry, but its apprent that the Newton family is dirty as hell.

The extent to which that can be proven is all that is up in the air.
