Realistic? Awww Shucks.

Ok, I will try.

Our Defense as Cheshire said lost some great playmakers, but we have some depth and finally moved Ellis back to his natural position. Rob Smith is lightning in a bottle in a way. Dude is intense. I am looking for our D to improve in the back as well, which is a huge need. Our Corners and Safeties should improve a lot.

Offense, 5th year senior with some great TE play, hopefully J. Corn and Jo Jo will pick up where they need to keep us going. Edwards as well in the WR Corp. Running game will be stron without injury. Having some early enrollees will help with depth.

Special teams. We may miss our punter, but hopefully our FG kicking will improve with our AA Player as well.

I expects an improvement from last season in win totals from 9-10 total wins.

Without Herpy Derp mistakes of course.

Love our new OC as well!

Now, back to rant style. Bert Finna Eat and we going to the Ship!

I could see us winning 8-10 next year. It's gotten to the point where I don't believe we're going to beat Alabama until I see it, and we've only won twice @LSU, so I don't have a lot of hope for that one. Realistically, we could lose all four of the road games, which is something I don't even want to think about.

I'm curious to know how you feel about McElwain,

Not a homerun hire like Meyer was but not a "WTF?!" hire like Zook or "Huh?" hire like Muschamp.

8-4, maybe 9-3.

A close win for UF. Because I'm biased, it's in the Swamp, and dammit, it's UF/UT.

Not much to add about the team analysis. In regards to the game...the trip to Knoxville is the road trip I picked this year. I expect it to be a fantastic football game.

Plus...I avoid that cesspool in Baton Rougem, another potential road trip for hog fans. It smells like corn dogs and is likely to be a cakewalk for Bert given the lack of a LSU QB.

Arkansas: Offense as good as last year, probably better. Looking for a #3 RB, but Kody Walker can be a tough runner when called upon. Passing game should be better.

Defense will be good, DL maybe not quite as strong but maybe young players will surprise. Bijohn may have a breakout year. Linebackers may be pretty decent. Secondary will be better.

Special teams - kicking game will be better. Hedlund really coming on but Sailing and McFain are doing well also. Sounds like punting will be fine as well.

Think we are easily capable of winning 9 regular season, if we get a good break or two 10. Bad break or two, 8.

Of course @Alabama toughest road game. @ Tennessee probably no piece of cake.

Feel great about McElwain thus far. Love his big picture approach and his iron fist on getting facility upgrades for all student athletes, but more specifically the football team. His future Falls will determine more of my opinion.

Strengths- Defense, TE's
Weaknesses- Depth on OL, only a few playmakers on O

Record- 7-9 wins pre bowl

Thoughts on TN gm- I have none right now. Until TN can prove they can beat UF again, I'm done arguing about this "rivalry".

Florida - First, I'll admit you guys have owned our arse the past 10 years, (and even more before the steak) but this thread isn't about that. I'm curious to know how you feel about McElwain, what your projected '15 record will be, strengths & weaknesses, and how you feel about the Tennessee game at home this year.

The OL is an absolute concern, but I do like where McElwain will take the program. The secondary will be really solid, and have to enjoy VH3 before he goes.

As for the UT game, BJ has done a good job there, but I think we can win that at home.

Overall, I'd think ~8 wins. More than anything, I'd rather not see as many blowout/embarassing losses like some of the ones during Muschamp's time.

It should be a pretty interesting season.

I'm interested in that one honestly, given that both have improved since BB/BJ have gotten there.
