I read earlier the rumor was he would for 3 mil a year.

He isn't worth that at this time, mainly for the reasons I listed above.

That was just some dude's opinion on twitter.

I am not trolling.

You had a COACH leave your program for TULSA….think about that.

Howland is a possibility.

I think your AD had a major hard on with Painter last go around.

Since when did coaches become bitches like some fans where they expect to go to places where success has already happened. They dont want to get their elbow's dirty?

Do you think that UT and Mizzou aim for elite 8s and nothing better?

What the frick does that have to do with the fact that neither Painter nor Webber are coming to Mizzou.

I don't know if it was a hard on but a STL reporter jumped the gun and started reporting Painter to Missouri as a done deal before it was done. Got the fans (some at least) excited, only to have the rug pulled out from underneath them.

You can't have it both ways. You told us all year Haith was a shitty coach. He was. He was on the way out and leaped before he got thrown. Now you try to troll us because we didn't extend his contract and yet if we had, here you would be saying we gave an extension to a shitty coach.

Haith is a shitty coach and you're a shitty poster.

a STL reporter got used by Painter's agent, naively repeated on the radio everything the agent told him and started reporting Painter to Missouri and got Painter a raise

Turns out and I did not believe it at first. But according to our rivals board. A booster informed a poster that a week ago Haith approached Alden about an extension or he was taking the Tulsa job.

I think Haith got the short end at Mizzou but Alden called his bluff.

And coaches at mid majors jump to a school like Mizzou before they jump to a school you are talking about....Stevens got tired of waiting for Indiana...He jumped to the NBA. Few has jumped never...

To act like it is written in stone that is happens your way or no other is dumb.

If Mizzou gets shot down by Miller or an equal. Its not because they havent made a final 4, it is because they are in the SEC....again they have had your current coach and Bill Self begging for the job in the past

He's WldcatMike, you should know better than to talk rationally.

Treat as alter that just wants to talk shite because he has no reputation, move on.

It's the proper protocol.

LSU had a coach leave their program for TCU, they seemed happy about that at the time.

North Texas was pissed as a result.

Hope y'all get a good coach.

Would be nice to see Mizzou actually contribute to SEC basketball.

And Haith is a shitty coach. Off court issues and relaying of transfers to build a team is not a way to run a program.

I also want to add that Auburn fired the first shot. there will be an arms race for basketball and good coaches will be fired or pushed out over the next decade. SEC football makes enough revenue to cover itself and then some, the network while likely not as great as OKTC wants to think it will be. Will not bomb out like the LHN.......there is a strong push for basketball in the SEC even if on the outside it appears that nobody cares

The SEC has been waiting for you to contribute in football for 5 decades or more......your current coach wont get it done...

good luck with that, maybe you too can take up a national championship level quidditch program

It actually started three years ago, Mizzou and Tennessee are being forced to go back to the well after being used as stepping stones.
