That's my point those misfires didn't last long and were replaced by great coaches. I can't think of any other program that has had as many elite coaches as Kentucky Basketball

I wouldn't call Tubby a misfire. UK had some very good years with him, he just unfortunately plateaued.
And should be another example of how hard it is to win a Men's Basketball Championship even as a good coach.

If Tubby had recruited as hard as he did before Team Turmoil he might still be here. His recruiting was atrocious by the end.
