He's already been ran out of the NBA once.
He only wins because he has the best players.
He's not a very good game day coach.
He won't make it in the NBA because he cant stock pile talent..

Cal makes $8M at UK and the Pelicans are only going to pay @ $4-5M for the new hire coach. Why take the pay cut and the extra drama in the NBA when you can have anything you desire at UK?

I can see the desire take another shot at the NBA and build a team around Anthony Davis at that level. If he leaves it'll be more about that than the money.

He could still make more money with a lower salary. Go to the NBA, get fired and paid out contract than return to college in 4 or 5 years.
