And you're pretty astute for a Louisiana boy.

Most missed calls are judgment calls. This is like the last time we played UK and they had six players on the court. It's pretty absurd.

The great teams such as duke, uk, michigan st, have earned benefit of the doubt whether its right or wrong.

Not true

If it is Duke, UNC, or UCLA they get the calls
If it is Indiana, Kentucky, or Michigan State it usually does not go their way
Kansas seems to be somewhere in the middle with Uconn

Who is going to make the call? Ref near Cal is looking at the opposite corner at the time. How can a ref call something they can not see? It looks like somewhere between the free throw line and the 3 point line would have been in his sight line.

Not sure anybody on here has taken the position that it was not a foul, but a ref has to see it and call it for it to matter in a live game. In football the guy that gets the first hit gets away with it and the second guy is usually seen and the call made.

obviously the ref winked at Cal and then turned his head so that Cal could move the player

You can only see one ref. That may not have been his zone.

Unbelievable that LSU fans are this rustled over Cal. I've never quite seen anything like it. Maybe it's just because as ATX said a few pages ago, this kind of coaching was commonplace in the Big 8.

It's really not. They won. There has to be something to be apoplectic about. You'll learn.

jesus you're dumb

I never said it wasn't against the rules or should have been called a tech

I just don't know why everyone is so pissed off about it

it was a missed call that had very little impact on the game

FWIW idc that it happened, even though I've commented in this thread.

now had it happened late and affected the game, I'd be singing a different tune.

But it didn't, so whatever.

While I don't think anything should have been called T wise or anything I also don't recall a coach going on court and pushing one of his own players during live action

It may have happened before but I don't recall it and I've been watching CBB for 30 years
