Well what in the hell do you think buyout means? You're buying out the contract. Schools with any sense got a discounted rate with terminating the contract (think cell phone early termination).
ETA: The only deserving candidate on that list for a large buyout is Saban. That just protects Bama from outside hires. Everyone else, doubt their doors are being knocked on much for hire aways.
