They'll lose 3 games this year.

Well if you feel this way that doesn't bode well for your team considering Miles is head and shoulders above Sumlin as a head coach.

Sell. I'd probably buy at 7-1 but @Moo State & USCe plus Florida and Auburn is too much to ask for a team with QB issues and a new defensive coordinator.
They'll drop one somewhere along the way.

Buying or Selling: LSU 8-0 Headed into November
As a realist I am going to push. It is too early to tell because we have too many unanswered questions. This is the first time in a long time that I have gone into an LSU football season not having a clue how it could play out.
As an LSU fan, I am going to buy. We going undefeated, Coach O gonna be ripping his shirt off and eating gumbo all the way to golden pocket pussy. LF is gonna to destroy the SEC worst than the Union Army did from 1861-1865. LSU LSU LSU

All Flaming aside Miles has never lost an OOC game, Never lost to Auburn at Home, and is 9-1 vs MSST. 7-1 going into Bama is the Floor

I can definitely see 7-1. 8-0 wouldn't shock me, but as several have stated, the question at quarterback will probably be too much for the undefeated stretch.

Buy.
4 cupcake OOC teams, which LSU has never lost to during the regular season under Miles.
Florida (2014 7-5) has no OL depth and is probably 2-3 years away from being a perennial 10-win team again.
South Carolina (2014 7-6) may be better than last year, and I don't know much about them to be honest, but I just don't see this happening... Spurrier seems tired.
Otherwise, I like the fact that we're catching State and Auburn early. Those teams are replacing a ton of depth and experience, which might not be an issue later in the year, but they'll need time to adjust in the first three weeks. Same reason we were able to beat Auburn in 2013.
November is going to be all kinds of fun.

All joking aside, I think the LSU D is just going to get better from this point on.

This is easier than predicting oil will continue to go down

Buy....and we beat A&M regardless.

All LSU all the time.
Now that we finally ditched our weak link in 3rd and Chavis I will buy 8-0 heading to the easiest part of the schedule

You're replacing 2 of your top 3 pass catchers, your leading rusher, and starting QB. I have a ton of respect for Malzhan, but that's quite a bit of production to replace, and as good as Jeremy Johnson MIGHT be, Malzhan is also going to need to completely re-tool the offense to focus on his strengths.
I also have pause as to how big of an impact Boom can have on a pitiful defense by the third week of the season.
It should easily be the most competitive game out of the first 8. Just a matter of which team can gel together the fastest.

If Phil Steele predicted it then I can guarantee you it will not happen.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't... except for maybe one.
