TN must have been the second choice.

I'd say that has more to do with the deal being negotiated when we played Oregon. Or IOW, we got a sweet deal cuz we filled Autzen.

That game was played on Halloween so the jersey was appropriate - they weren't a formal uni so much as run down the street and have these made. But again for a night game on Halloween the Jack O Lantern look worked.

In truth, Tenn actually may well have some uni combos that are huge upgrades.

Conventional wisdom says teams with wild and ugly uniforms have some sort of recruiting edge. I'm not convinced, though.
