I always found it amusing that Alabama also gets off to "Dixieland Delight", a song about getting laid in Tennessee.

We get a piece of arse in Tennessee every other year at Neyland Stadium.

And tell me something I didn't already know.

The difference in Rocky Top and Sandstorm is that Rocky Top is actually known by all college football fans, whether you love it or hate it.

I'm biased obviously, but the sound and beat of Rocky Top coming from our marching band is crisp and badass.

Best "fight song" in all of college football, IMO. Even though it's not technically the fight song and even though everything about me hates everything about Rocky Top.

Well, the group is from Fort Payne, Alabama. It wouldn't be the first time someone took a song that had one meaning, and used it for another. "Born in the USA" anyone?

It's not an awesome video. It's stupid. I had to keep watching it to find out if there was any actual point to it. There wasn't.

That's because you're a Missouri fan and practically don't even count as a person.

There should be some legislation moving forward similar to the three-fifths compromise. Missouri and TAMU fans' opinions only count about half the time and even then you don't really have much credibility.

Sandstorm is annoying to hear constantly, but when you're in the stadium and seeing this, I'll take it over Rocky Top any day

Actually the week of that game Rocky Top is played many many times during practice. I think Butch has music playing during practice just for kicks. Sweet Home Alabama was kind of a classic rock song that many radio stations nationwide played and probably will continue. However the music is pumped to UT's practice is the personhe needs to speak with but I doubt seriously 103.5 in K'ville is not gonna stop playing it from time to time.

I actually met them at a restaurant, years ago when I was working in Fort Payne.

"Sweet Home Alabama" and "Rocky Top" can both take a long sleep.

Does anyone else find it kind of funny that someone on the Tennessee staff was on a show called The Biggest Loser?

It's pathetic, I was laughing my Vols&Shaft off during the game in Columbia last year.

And they actually have the fricking nerve to chant "USC, USC, USC" during the song. Newsflash to the Gamepenises, there's an actual USC, and it ain't you.
