People shouldn't laugh. Tennessee fans take this twitter stuff so seriously that they decided to unfollow Dovantea Lambert after he flipped his commitment to Auburn last year just to teach him a lesson. I still don't know how the kid ever survived

I think it did affect him, he hasn't done very much on the field. Can't blame him, twitter Vols can be harsh

In any interview ive ever seen with him.. I'm of the opinion that he would lie or do anything to further recruiting... And hey sometimes you've got to do that in recruiting... But it doesn't mean i like or respect you..

I had never seen a fanbase worship at the altar of a coach who has never accomplished anything of note until Butch arrived at UT.

I disagree. Younger fans, college students and below, liked him a lot though. Jones, OTOH, damn near everyone likes, well, except for guys like VF30.

almost everyone drooled over Kiffin. The only detractors were the gray hairs still in love with Fulmer. He definitely sold his worth hard, and UT fans ate it up until he spawned everyone for USC. Take this from someone who, believe it or not, is a UT grad and had to listen to the Kiffin talk daily.
