Well, looks like we have a good chance of finishing second in the East, which is where we were expected to finish

UF was predicted to finish 4th or 5th.
Any more excuses?

not while they have that trash coaching staff they have.

A bunch of garbage Cincinnati coaches mixed with rejects from auburn and Georgia can't get it done in the SEC.

That's funny. Saban turned Bama around in his second season.

Why do we need an excuse about finishing where we were expected to.

You overachieved, congrats.

Elite coaches make an immediate impact on the positive side.

Harbaugh did it many places. Urban has done it everywhere he has been.

Plenty of examples.

No, I disagree.
I think UT and UGA underachieved, again.

Our O line is a patchwork unit at best. UGA lost Chubb, that's a legit excuse. UT doesn't really have one. The Vol's have choked away what could/should have been a much better season.

WE ARE GONNA FINISH WHERE WE WERE PREDICTED TO FINISH.

Our Oline is patchwork as well. Our best Dlineman got injured early and one of our best receivers has been injured all year. Our most productive WR from last year played in one game and was kicked off the team.

Yes, we were close to finishing with an unexpected overachieving season.

We lost our best defensive player in the second game, lost defensive starters in camp, lost our best OLineman in camp, have injured players on an oline that is still subpar (improved but subpar as some of the athletes just aren't that talented while others like Kerbyson are playing out of position and doing a fairly good job of it despite that), we replaced half that OL during the UGA game and still came back and won. Our WR corps are missing Marquez North, Jason Croom, Pig Howard, and others -- they are a skeleton crew. And it goes on and on.

We've had true froshies all over the field again including positions like MLB, RT, RG, where you really suffer for inexperience. Despite all of this we're going to finish with a good overall record.

The funny thing is that had folks known in the preseason that North and Maggitt would be out for most of the season you'd have seen expectations adjusted downward in a hurry as it stands we're missing more than those two and are still going to meet expectations.
