You don't really want that. Auburn would end up like State and have a losing record all-time in conference if that was the case.

I don't know why you guys are bitching about pod 3, personally I think it's perfect.

Maybe you guys could win back your big 6 membership, but probably not for a decade or 5

Geographical breakdown isn't working...how 'bout this.

Red(ish) Division
Bama
Arkansas
USCe
UGA
aTm
MSU
Ole Miss

Not Red Division
UT
Auburn
UF
UK
MIZZOU
LSU
Vandy

Then you could add two more teams:

Red - Oklahoma
Not Red - Clemson

About all you are missing is Notre Dame and Penn state. So some of you want an NFL lite? You don't think that would kill college football? The reason many of the teams look good is because they have 6-8 cupcakes a year like Ohio State and Florida state.

Oklahoma
Virginia Tech

South and Eastern division losers play off with the loser replaced by the winner of Conference division. Loser of Conference division is replaced by their in-state rival for the next season. Missouri's little bro would be Kansas.

* = Lowered position due to the impending death penalty for Ole Miss

I realize Pod 4 would be very weak for football, but we would lock up basketball and be the best at baseball and football, while expanding our presence in Florida and entering North Carolina.

Vandy and Mississippi State got kicked out? Similar to Temple in the Big East?

Vandy is only in the conference because they were the biggest Dixie powerhouse at the time the SEC was formed. I'm not sure why MSU was ever included in the SEC in the 1st place.

I don't want a 14 team SEC let alone a 16 team one- 12 was much better. WVU is even more a geographic outlier than Mizzou- Morgantown is right by the Pennsylvania border. Plus WVU's fans are awful and their whole state is racist inbred hillbillies who even Mississippians look down on. There are probably more insulting comments made about West Virginians than there are about the other 49 states combined- and with good reason.

NC State doesn't have the geographic or inbred hillbilly issues that WVU has. But they are an even more unexciting sports add than Mizzou was.

I would trade Mizzou and Vandy for any of the following:

Clemson
Oklahoma
Miam (FL)
Texas,

I wouldn't having aTm leave as well.

The last division is squishy, but it preserves more rivalries and makes geographic sense.
