Think that is a great hire to Vandy. Only downside is having to watch that shot every single time Ole Miss plays Vandy now. But Congrats Vandy, think he will do good things there.

You'd rather have a washed up retread Rick Barnes than a guy who is young and is going to be around for 10 plus?

AMAZING

Barnes will be around another 6-8 or so. Jim Larranaga took the Miami job at age 61 several years ago and has them in the NCAAt from the ACC.

Well he can do that but don't expect a whole lot after that. Even with the talent he was able to get in Texas he underachieved massively.

What has Mike Anderson done at Arkie? Insert giggles.

Deflect because the truth hurts. I don't think I made one statement about who was better between the two.

It wasnt just that shot that was truly amazing. It's one of the best plays in basketball history. A guy throws a perfect long pass to his leaping twin brother almost 3/4 court. The pass was thrown high on purpose because the guy had about a 40" vertical and they knew he would outjump Ole Miss. The defense predictably leaves Drew to stop the pass and defend. In mid-air the guy passes to a now open Drew. He nails the shot. It was drawn up that way. Perfectly executed. It was a team shot. Very likely somethings they worked on in practice. A great combination of coaching, teamwork, and execution.

Maybe Frank will make the NCAAT one year at USC. I know it won't take Barnes THAT long to make NCAAT at VOLS.

You have to forgive Serraneux. UK cut his little Friday fap session short by taking the series after he talked shite.

And good pickup for Vandy. Continue to raise the quality of coaching and the level of play will rise as well.

No one besides you think Barnes is a better hire than Drew. No one. Stop shoveling, your hole is just getting bigger.

Let me know when Drew gets to 20+ and counting NCAA tourneys. Then we can have an actual discussion on who is the better coach.

Most memorable shot I've seen in the NCAA Tournament. I remember watching it live in class.

Great hire, Vanderbilt. I think he will do well there.

Having fun imagining the reception he'll get the first time he walks out at Ole Miss. It'll be like the old days at Memorial when Ray Mears would take a pre-game walk around the perimeter of the court in that orange blazer just to rile up the Vandy students...

Good hire, just hoping it's a done deal.
