appears to be done barring some absolute last minute snag. Very good hire IMO. Won the Horizon League 4 out of the 5 years there as HC, 2 NCAA tournament appearances & just lost in the NIT title game the other night.

Solid hire. Be interesting to see how it pans out. Inherited a quality program at Valpo from his dad. However, he was there long enough that he sustained it with his recruiting and coaching.

SLU needs to figure out what they want as an athletic department. The resources and facilities are there. I do not like they moved on campus, but I get why.

He thinks Butch Jones is a good coach because Tennessee beat South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vandy for three years. What do you expect?

I'd rather have a coach that knows what it takes to get a P5 basketball program to the NCAAT than some dood who won a $hitty league sans Butler who went to the Big East in 2013.

Hey dumbass it is harder to get a non P5 team to NCAAT.

Well he can do that but don't expect a whole lot after that. Even with the talent he was able to get in Texas he underachieved massively.
