Is his son even on scholarship? As the child of a school employee wouldn't tuition be free anyway?

No he's a walk-on, but he did transfer from a low-major D-1 school where he was on scholly.
And Skylar McBee is a walk on who had offers to Ohio, Ball State, and I believe Marshall

If Pearl [and it is a big if] gets to the finals I think that he can beat KY if they happen to get there.KY has the talent, but their youth will likely get them beat B4 they get to the finals.

They have a blend of talent and experience ,everyone seems to forget about Patterson in Miller. Kentucky is going to the finals and I don't think they'll have a close game on the way. Their team is very similiar to the Derick Rose Memphis squad.

Pearl has done a remarkable job up here over the past five years. Buzz Peterson left the program in the doldrums and he has completely reinvented things. He is a good guy too. I've met him just out and about a few times and he always is a good sport about talking, taking pictures etc. I really like the guy and if he were at LSU you guys would love him. Great ambassador for Tennessee also.
