That was just the most pimp press conference I've ever seen.

I love our coaches in every sport. They give me the warm and fuzzies.

A&M just gave Pearl a guaranteed win by keeping Kennedy.

Actually for lying. And I don't think lying to the NCAA should be punishable by anything other than maybe a swirlie.

Having said that, Pearl is a giant mass of slime. Good luck, Aubs. He'll win y'all some games.

In maybe 3 years. Their program is the same shape ours was in when Pelphrey was fired.

He'll win a little faster than Anderson. He (ahem) does what needs to be done. (Nudge, nudge)

This is much more difficult to do at an under armour school

And? Tennessee had a team I thought would win 10 games TOPS in Pearl's first year and UT was a #2 seed in the tourney. Dude is good at getting more out of a player than he's supposed to have.

Speculation, I'm sure Pearl will have no problem recruiting Memphis and Atlanta.

recruiting Memphis

Disagree. Pastner currently has a pipeline in the city, so he will have to fight for scraps. It is rare nowadays for a big time player in the city to not sign with Memphis and the ones that don't sign with Nike schools. Name any big time player in the city in the last 5-10 years they either played for the Nike sponsored Memphis YOMCA team or the adidas sponsored M33M or Memphis Magic.

You can down play the role the these shoe companies play in recruiting all you want, but it is the dirty truth of basketball recruiting.
