And would these expectations be different of any new head coach? Seems pretty standard.

Basically every coach that doesn't win a championship gets fired at some point in the NBA. That's not really a knock against him.
Having said that Pearl would've been ideal but I'm cautiously optimistic to see what AJ can do.

Not really. I think Alabama fans are just excited about basketball again. We suffered through years of watching Grant ball, and that would make anyone appreciate seeing signs of life from the basketball program again.
It's like rantards are offended that Alabama fans are excited about a new coach. What gives?

You had a poster claim that Avery Johnson won an NBA Title and that makes him more accomplished than Pearl's Elite Eight appearance. Did I say I expect people to be scared anywhere in my post? It's the rant. Fans troll. People get excited about their coach. Hope springs eternal.
