You just won't find many like Julio or Amari. Ridley is a speed demon though and he has great hands. Dupre may be a little better but Ridley will have better numbers.

What in the world makes you believe that this has been a QB issue and not a Sumlin issue?

I think Dupre might be the best in the SEC.

Thanks you for saying this. I was gonna say it but I didn't wanna be that guy that thinks his players are better than everybody else's. Malachi was the number 1 receiver in the country coming out of highschool for a reason. That dude is such a polished receiver.

True. I've just talked to some Bama fans that acted like he was just guaranteed to be a top 10 pick and was an absolute monster. I mean, he's good. He may be really good. But Julio was a freak of nature and Amari might be the most impressive receiver I've ever seen in SEC football. I've never seen a receiver be running a streak and the corner is step for step with him and then when the ball is in the air Amari absolutely TORCHES the corner. His top end speed is scary. Malachi is just an extremely polished receiver that is smooth as butter. He will have a long career in the NFL IMO.

The Hogs have a shot of having the best receiving group. If Austin Allen can deliver the ball, these guys will be good.

this is what the big 3 has returning (entire career #s):
Bama: 253 receptions for 3199 yards. 12.64 YPR
OM: 393 receptions for 4447 yards. 11.32 YPR
A&M: 461 receptions for 5985 yards. 12.98 YPR
thats including oj howard and evan engram

Of the three, Ole Miss was the only one to lose two receivers to the NFL (plus the main pass-catching RB), so they have the most yardage and scoring to replace. Quincy Adeboyjo, De'morea Stringfellow, and Evan Engram are pretty much the only major pass catchers Ole Miss returns, though Markell Pack and Demarkus Lodge also scored 4 TDs between them (Lodge should've RSed).

No one can replace Laquon Treadwell, and Cody Core developed into a damn fine receiver in his own right. Basically every WR who should see the field In '16, with the exception of Quincy Adeboyjo, was a composite 4* coming out of HS and is 6'2-3" though. As long as Chad Kelly is healthy and the line doesn't shite the bed, Ole Miss' receivers should look pretty decent just because of the offensive system and quarterback. Regardless of the system, this is probably the best group of receivers across the board Ole Miss has ever had, on paper. Not to mention, Adeboyjo, Stringfellow, and Engram have all shown flashes of brilliance in conference play. Hope it's fun.

A&M WRs are stacked. A ton of depth and high end talent. Speedy, RSJ, Reynolds, and Kirk are all talented enough to be a #1 option on a very good team.

Idk if Speedy will ever reach his potential. I'm rooting for him but I just don't know. I see a Russell Sheppard in him.

Hard to tell, but if he doesn't then we'll plug another guy in at the other outside spot.

I honestly don't know how clemsons group would be rated above ours. Clemson has a great team but the only area they are better is qb. This is the best Corps Saban has had.

The weakness of this is that without a good QB, the best set of WR's are only blockers.

so he catches his passes too.

nobody would be saying Bama's WRs are better if not for the Alabama bias and hype machine. nbody ever talked much about their WRs last season at all.

i doubt many bama fans and sec fans can even name more than 2 Clemson WR.

As long as he lights up Tennessee, we're good.

Seriously, he's a good WR and he'll get a lot of chances.

CU was without Mike Williams, who will be in NFL, and Cain, our fastest WR, who Dabo sent home after failing a drug test, in the title game.
