Petrino wasn't the coach at Arkansas in 2007. That is why Mallett didn't sign with the Hogs then. Had Petrino been at Arkansas in 2007 Mallett would have been a Hog from the beginning.

He had a Oklahoma and Arkansas hat sitting side by side and he talked about how he was always a huge Arkansas fan and loved them since he was a little kid and he said how he loved OU's program and the coaches and their facilities but in the end he couldn't leave home and he picked up the Arkansas hat.

You know we were talking about this over teh weekend and the possibility of a return for he15sman's senior season if the NFL goes all lockout.
It was a long conversation taking place in a 79 F100 with the winders down while driving around Washington country sippin purple drank while trying to find a gas station that had both a rose in the bottle and sudafed.
It is not secret as to why he15man has taken all those extra chemistry classes as electives...
