Don't know if Tim has a good enough relationship with ESPN for this to have ever been an option. But yeah he would have been a homerun hire and this is probably his dream job

Honestly, I'd prefer Verne and Danielson to these two nimrods. Though I really wish they'd go get Ron Franklin. He was awesome back in the day on ESPN.

You would get him for more games than the 15 Thurday night games he does, and you would get him for draft coverage.

I guess since he does pxp for Notre Dame on NBC so I guess he's able to manage everything but I don't know if SEC fans would really appreciate Mayock. He's very straightforward, no bs type of guy. Would be interesting to watch

Musburger is okay, but I would almost rather break my tv than listen to Jesse Palmer. ESPN proclaims themselves to be the leader in sports, but 95 percent of their college football guys completely suck

Fine with me, sets up the opportunity for an all Manning announcing crew, once Jesse comes out of the closet and Brent Musburger goes to prison for child pornography.
Threes years down the road, Peyton retires from the league, him and Archie co-host games together, then they become lead crew for all important SEC games...Rivalry games with ranked teams,SEC Championship.. blah blah blah.
Five years down the road, Eli retires, learns how to speak English, then comes on as a Alternate for Archie and eventually replaces him. Manning Brothers with sideline reporter Tits McGee and Holly Look-At-Dat-AZZ.

I can handle Musburger, but Palmer is annoying as hell. I wish they could've got Blackledge instead of Palmer.
