I love the SEC as much as the next guy but his constant blowing of the SEC was even too much for me to take. Every time they cut out to commercial or back from one he has to make some comment about about how the passion, emotion, atmosphere (insert any other buzz word) in the SEC was unmatched. We get it Brent the SEC is the best it doesn't really need repeating 1000 times. Hopefully once the network is established he won't feel the need to harp on that so much.
Other than that he's not that bad.

That fool must have called Arkansas "wisconsin" 3-4 times. I got to where I liked Verne and Gary. Verne would make mistakes, but I liked danielson.
Best musberger story is from back in 1963. he was a cub reporter for the Chicago American (newspaper). He asked a shitty question to Alex Karras about gambling allegations. Karras punched Musberger out. Not sure he knocked him out, but he did some damage.

He's 75 + yrs old. That says it all. The newest network in college football & the SEC picks an old retread. He has about as much energy as a wilted plant in a flower pot.Here's hoping that come next season 75% of these clowns are gone.

Musberger is ok, he's older now, but still calls a pretty good game imho.
