John Phillips is involved in this mess as well.

Will be interesting if they can prove he took money, otherwise non issue.

Talk all the trash you wish about Alabama. This isn't a thread about Alabama. Start a new thread trashing Alabama and have at it.

Word is on the Scout A&M board the Mods have stopped the Aubies trotting out the old Charger Pics and told them to cease and desist.

It's not going to be an issue, because they can not prove it. I just can't believe that this kid would be that stupid to do something like this.
My question would be, does he care that he may have hurt his team by even being associated with this? He may have hurt himself, because surely the coach is going to give someone else a lot of reps in practice incase Johnny can't play. I may not have put much truth to this if it had not been for that article that came out last week. It seems like Johnny's dad is a greedy man and can not wait to capitalize on Johnny's future, but I really don't think that Johnny will have the future that they think that he will. I believe that he is one of those guys that is great in college, but not so much in the pros.

The brat kind of snubs his nose at what you would think normal in the way of behavior (or has since the trophy). I am not so sure that his arrogance didn't cause him to slip up somewhere along the line.

Not necessarily. Proving that Fitch got paid would be good enough. And the broker's business records may just be good enough. They'd be good enough for the IRS...why not the NCAA? And the broker is apparently talking.

Not Tieman...the second, unnamed broker. Not on the record to the media yet, though. Of course, it could be all a figment of someone's imagination, or just a bogus, made up story.

ESPN is risking huge defamation lawsuit if all untrue.

Makes you wonder.

Really wanted to beat Johnny at his best.

No way this works out good for him.

Every student at A&M is allowed to do that if they so please. But don't let facts get in the way of your ranting

No shite, if they weren't it would be an automatic NCAA violation. No student athlete is allowed special treatment just because they are a student athlete. How many of your other athletes are taking only online classes? It isn't an NCAA violation, it is an ethical cesspool though. It opens the school up in a way that they shouldn't allow, they basically lost the ability to self police their own athlete. If you think that A&M is doing a good job of policing him, maybe you should explain every headline over the past six months concerning him...maybe it is you not wanting facts to get in the way.

Dude. Manziel is done for. The NCAA doesn't need to prove anything, and this crap is piling up like Aaron minus the murder charges . Poor Aggies...it was fun watching you guys rock it.

aside from the autograph thing all those headlines were a bunch TMZ women at the hair salon horeshit gossip stories that didn't mean a damn thing. Johnny went to a party at Texas!!! HOLY shite FRONT PAGE NEWS!!!!

and at acting like taking online classes is some great sin. Tons of universities and colleges have them now. Its not out of the norm.

Never mind that he went to his classes for the other 3 semesters preceding his all online semester.
